Generation & Detailing Bridge Design

Presentation 3_Bridge Design_Generation Detailing

Your speakers:

In this presentation we will demonstrate an open BIM workflow from modelling to reinforcement generation and detailing. Based on the platform Autodesk® Revit® and the application SOFiSTiK Bridge + Infrastructure Modeler. we will walk you through the general workflow of modelling bridge projects. After that, we follow two separate workflows to generate reinforcement and reinforcement drawings:

  • The first workflow uses views exported from Revit and follows the classical 2D SOFiCAD procedures.
  • The second workflow generates the reinforcement inside Revit. We will give a preview and an outlook in current SOFiSTiK developments which will enable the user to overcome missing Revit functionality with SOFiSTiK RC and SBIM features.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.
